I tell my brides that it is best to set aside at least $1000 for alterations. Your dress may not require a thousand dollars worth of work, but it is good to know you have it if you need it.
Exact quotes for alterations can't really be given with only a picture of the dress. An accurate quote is achieved when the bride is in the dress and I can see what needs to be done.
If you are shopping around for your altercations and need a quote you can book an appointment for $75. This will include at least an hour long fitting/consultation, which is measureing, pinning, and planning. If you decide to come to me for your alterations this amount will be applied to the package you choose or alterations.
Rush Fees
Any dress that needs to be ready in 6 weeks or less is considered a rush project. The fee for this is $300 on top of alterations needed. A situation like this requires that the dress be put ahead of an already established alteration schedule with other brides.
